Hi, my name is Shari and I am a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant (C.H.N.C).

Food has always been a passion; I've always enjoyed cooking and baking. Growing up around farming and gardening, I learned early on about the importance of taste and quality in food. While pursuing my business degree in college, I started working at a natural, whole food grocery store, where I delved deeper into the world of organics and healthier alternatives.

Despite thinking that I was eating balanced meals, I struggled with low energy and fatigue. In 2018, I was diagnosed with extreme anemia and underwent iron injections, but they didn't yield the desired results. At the suggestion of a friend, and in consultation with my family doctor, I turned to a nutritionist for help in rebuilding my iron levels through diet and lifestyle changes. This experience ignited my passion for food even more as I realized the power it held in the restoration and nourishment of the body.

In 2019, I enrolled in the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN) while continuing to work as a full-time accountant. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit and work shifted to remote, I realized that I wasn't fulfilled in my career and wanted to follow my passion. I made the decision to leave my job in October 2021 to focus on finishing my nutrition studies, and graduated with merit in the summer of 2022. I am now a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant and hold a Holistic Culinary certificate from CSNN.

During my studies, I gained a deep understanding of the vital role that digestion and gut health play in overall health and well-being. Putting this knowledge into practice, I worked with my husband and children to make small but meaningful changes to improve our gut health. These changes have had a positive and lasting impact on our daily lives, which we continue to experience and enjoy.

As a working professional myself, I understand the challenges of preparing wholesome and nutritious meals amid busy schedules and lack of planning. It's easy to resort to ordering in when life gets in the way. That's why I am passionate about working with professionals who struggle with low energy, bloating, nausea, constipation, and other digestive issues. I believe that life should not compromise our ability to eat nourishing and delicious food. I love working with clients to cater to their individual tastes and dietary needs, finding ways to incorporate nutritious food without sacrificing flavor.
